The new midsole and outsole construction has more release grooves in the midsole to promote extra adaptability on rough terrain letting the shoe mold easily to the ground, for a nice stable ride. A Ballistic Rock Shield with vertical grooves to provide side-to-side adaptability protects against pebbles and debris while also adapting more easily to uneven terrain. And for scree a gaiter tab on the heel secures a gaiter for extra protection against debris. Cushioning is improved with an extra 2mm of DNA LOFT v2 midsole for a shoe that’s 5% softer, and 20% lighter, for more fun in your run.
